Dermapen microneedling treatment (also known as collagen induction therapy) is a revolutionary, minimally invasive treatment to rejuvenate the skin. A device with fine needles creates tiny punctures in the top layer of the skin, which triggers the body healing response by creating new collagen and elastin. DURING THE TREATMENT
The skin is thoroughly cleansed and prepared for the treatment. The treatment consists in making several thousand micro-punctures with a precisely selected depth (in the range from 0.25 mm to 2.5 mm). The resulting micro-injuries stimulate the skin's innate ability to regenerate and physiologically induce collagen. At the same time, through the created channels, active substances are applied deep into the skin with properties stimulating cell renewal, moisturizing, nourishing and tightening. Immediately after the treatment, the skin may be red and irritated.
